(26 Oct 2018) After President Donald Trump announced that a man was apprehended by authorities in connection with the mail-bomb scare of suspicious packages sent to prominent Democrats, he asked a crowd at the White House, "Who gets attacked more than me?" Trump was speaking to guests at the Young Black Leadership Summit at the White House. Trump addressed the crowd saying, "many of you have been attacked and called vicious names for being willing to speak out for what we all believe in." He also said the conservative movement was one of "tolerance and unity and progress and a lot of people don't understand that." Trump also suggested his visit with Kanye West boosted his approval rating among African Americans, saying West "may be the most powerful man in all of politics." Guests repeatedly yelled, "fake news" in response to Trump's speech. After his speech, Trump signed guests' "Make America Great Again" hats.
